Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the USCRA has shortened our racing season. Our fist event will be the 2020 FIM North America Vintage Road Racing Championships at new Hampshire Motor Speedway on August 22nd and 23rd. Complete details on the event will be announced in the next few weeks.
The club will also hold it's annual Granite State Championships race on Labor Day, September 7th. Details of that event will also be made available soon. We are excited to announce that the USCRA will be partnering with MotoAmerica again this year for the 2018 North American Vintage Invitational presented by Heroic Apparel at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey on September 7-9.
Featuring a field of classic Period 1 machines, the Invitational will showcase a variety of makes and models from early tank shifters to factory racers from the 60's. Mark you calendars-you won’t want to miss this fantastic event! The USCRA, in conjunction with the Laconia Motorcycle Week Association is excited to present the Tower Hill Climb in Weirs Beach, New Hampshire on Tuesday, June 12th, as part of the 95th Annual Laconia Bike Week, June 9-17, 2018.
This unique event is an historical exhibition of the original Tower Street Hill Climb, dating back to 1916. There will be a variety of vintage machinery competing, including Vincent, Velocette and tank shift Indians. The event begins at 11am and admission is free. Can't wait to see you there! The USCRA is excited to announce 4x AMA road racing champion Dale Quarterley as Grand Marshal for the 18th Annual FIM North America Vintage Road Racing Championships on June 9th & 10th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “Rich Schlachter, a New England native, has gone down in history as the ultimate privateer,” said Bob Coy, founder and director of the USCRA. “He’s an important part of American motorcycle racing history and we’re thrilled to have him part of our vintage racing community.” In the late seventies, and with the help of legendary tuner Kevin Cameron, Schlachter was a top-ranked rider who campaigned his way to the pinnacle of the international racing circuit. He won the 1980 AMA Formula One race and the 1979 AMA Superbike race both at Loudon, New Hampshire.
