Any chance of seeing the results from either of the last two races posted soon?

Maybe this should be posted on the secret race director's section of this forum. I don't have access to that. Maybe one of the other 29 readers has that access to that section would be willing to request the results.

Scott .... didn't someone in the USCRA a couple of months ago say he would take over the simple and easy job of tabulating the results? And then it turned out it wasn't so simple and easy and that person has kind of quietly left the room ...and his responsiblity, behind?

I have the results from the last event and will be sending them to be posted shortly. I would include the results of the first event if snyone could send them to me. I only grabbed the results of my own races.

And thank you Scott for all the time you spent doing this in the past.

Bruce - There may be some confusion here. Are you doing the results for all the classes or just the sidecar classes? Did you send the results for all of the classes?

There's more than a few of us that are hoping at some point to see the results for all of the classes.

remember....... you have a 1/2 hour after results are posted at the track to correct any result if there is an error. if not corrected at the track than the the results stand as posted.

I don't think that's the issue. At least in my case. I'd just like to see how my buddies made out at the races. And not having the results posted someplace after the event makes it kind of hard to see how everyone did in the event. And I'd have to believe it'd make doing year end totals a nightmare.

If they no longer exist then that's one thing. But if they're out there someplace why can't they just be sent to Rob and he'll get them on the website?

Craig,

I entered all the results from the June 13 event into a spreadsheet and sent them to be posted on July 1st. I received all the paper results for the May event, along with grid sheets and score sheets, by snail mail last week just before I went in the hospital. I am working on getting those results into the spreadsheet so that they can be posted. They may be ready to send tonight.

Results for all classes at both the May and June events have been entered in a spreadsheet and submitted to be posted on the USCRA web site. The actual results pages were missing for several classes and I had to reconstruct the results from grid sheets and score sheets.

Bruce,

I know it's going to be a pain in the ass. But next time you get into your spread sheet you may want to change the 250gp results for the USVGP event. Doug Donelan took first and I had second. I assume John Strempher took third.

unfortunately the results will stand as they are due to the fact nobody questioned them at the track and the results were submitted. but you are correct craig.

This was my bad and should be corrected. Looking again at the results sheet for that race Doug's name was written in above the top line and new numbers written on the left. I overlooked that while transcribing in the wee hours of the morning. I will scan the sheet and post it if there are any doubts.

bruce, i understand what you are saying......but posting the results is different than tabulating the results.
to be fair to others in the past....leave well enough alone.

a lesson learned to others....................check your results when they are posted at the track.

John,

Maybe you didn't understand what I wrote so I will say it again. I made an error in transcribing the results received. The results I received, which are the results that were posted, had been corrected prior to my receiving them. As far as I can tell the results were checked and corrected in accordance with the rules. The error was on my part for not noticing they had been corrected. It is hardly fair to penalize someone for my error made weeks after the event.

Ok so I have a copy of what I thought was the final results for Masters on 5/21/2011 Vintage fest. It clealy shows that Ian Bisshopp DNS but the results on USCRA page has him listed as second pushing me back to 4th. Did he not have a transsponder, was Ian there at all? I dont know. Now what? Are you out there Ian, if so type in! On the grid I was handed a transsponder because mine was dead and I raced with it tucked into my suit, That could have been one of my other races. My point is that as said at rider meeting no trans on score. Next race less then a month away. Any schedual yet? See ya there.

Gerry,

As I said in my July 15 post I did not receive results sheets for some classes and had to reconstruct them from grid sheets and score sheets. Ian was listed as being on bike 626 and that bike shows up on every lap of all four score sheets I received. At this point I have no way of knowing if the sheet you have is what was posted as the final result. I will leave it to the powers that be to decide what to do here. Do keep in mind though that according to the rule book Masters is not a championship class. No points or trophies are awarded.
