Good to be trackside again. Lots of the usual suspects here today. Hoping more will arrive tonight or tommorow. Track was mostly dry with some drizzle as of now. Good luck to all and lets hope the ambulance is parked for the duration of the event.

Thanks the forum administrators for building the forum!

I'm new to all of this. Please be gentle. I'm camping out on the way to the central bathrooms. Hawk GT #929. Black trailer with observation deck.

How do the practice sessions go? I know it is two rounds. What are the classes for each 15 minutes ?

Thanks Gino

I believe they're broken up into fast and slow. If you've raced before and you're on a Hawk, you probably want fast practice.

Weather: sky clear, white puffy clouds. Excellent weather, slightly humid. Mid 70's. Great change from the last several days.

Hi all, Just a reminder: entry forms for the USVGP on June 13th have been posted on the site and are also available on the Yahoo group. I also gave a stack to Jim Marhan to hand out at the awards ceremony that didn't happen. He still has them and he's in garage #4. Let's hope for a drier day today!

The piece on Frank C. is awesome! Sometimes us whippersnappers forget we're racing with real legends...

Results? I was stuck on the island. :( Ryan called to share he highsided...luckily without too much injury. His Dad, Dan, had a great first event finishing fourth?
