Bob Campbell asked me to post today after his wreck with the front wall.
He's going to be fine. :D

First, Kudos to the track workers and safety personnel for their response and forcing him to go to the hospital, against his will. He has four broken ribs, and broke his shoulder blade! First time I've heard of that! Helmet got beat up, but he swears no loss of consciousness. Took a CT and found nothing, but we already knew that. Some extensive bruising, fluid, very sore neck, etc. All injuries should heal with a little bit of time.

Looks like the tire caught the wall, then all hell broke loose. His nephew took a pic just as it happened. Hopefully he will share.

He also asked me to apologize for the holdup he caused in the day. Yes, he really did!

Here's to a quick heal.

Sounds like he got pretty well mashed! Feel for him with all the discomfort he has ahead of him. Heal quickly, Bob!

Heal quick.

I hate to think what would have happened if he had been wearing one of the 5 month out-of-date Snell 2005 helmets that was someone was allowed to wear at this event.

Hey Bob,

Sorry to hear about your crash.
Broken ribs are no fun. You don't want a case of the hick-ups.
Heal quickly !

Glad to hear Bob will be ok. Definitely a scary looking crash! Heal up soon, and we will see you in September!

Thanks every one. I'm feeling better and out of the hospital, but boy is it hard to ride my unicycle right now. Come to think of it I never could ride that dam thing. Big thanks to the track and ambulance crew. Should be good to go in Sept. Bob Cam

September?!?

Cindy told me you said you were done for the year.
Then again, she also said you proposed to her at the hospital.
They got some good drugs there, eh Bob?

He'll be back in Sept. he won't go Pedrosa on us :)

Which reminds me of what a commentator said during the Silverstone race ..... "It's been a month since Pedrosa broke his collarbone ...and he's still not back. That's strange, he's no where to be seen, either he got hurt again in training or he got his skirt caught in a chain"

Pussy? Shoot Craig, I thought you were more like Samson! Or is it Sam Elliott? Platinum is a good look on you.
