Could we maybe adopt a convention to include some kind of date on some of the topic headers, especially for topics that say things like "Vintage Celebration"?

If we don't, we'll have quite the mess in a few years.

Can our admin update topic headers?

Sure. Thanks for the tip. Makes sense.

Eve, I'll also try to police it to make sure when the race seasons roll over that previous threads concerning events with the same name are deleted.

Hmmm ... would we want to actually delete them, or just move them somewhere? Is it possible to make an archive folder or something like that? How space constrained is the forum?

All of this is stored in a database, which does have its size constraints. Which is why there's no "General" forum here and the site is set up to prune/delete topics that haven't been viewed for the last 20-30 days. They won't get deleted if a moderator makes them a "sticky", or if their popular.

This is also why we don't allow uploading of images or files to the site, including avatars. It eats up site disk space and bandwidth quickly, and there's plenty of free file/image hosting sites out there that can be used to link to.

Rob, is the disk space scalable? I mean if the USCRA wanted to purchase more space or bandwidth would it be possible?
