Just wanted to notify the other 2 guys on the forum ;-)- that there is a discussion happening about the Fall giro. We have tentative plans to pull it all together, and hopefully they will fall into place smoothly. Stay tuned!

Folks,
just so everyone understands. We had reserved the Corning Hotel for 2011 before the 2010 Giro, since pretty much everyone expects the giros to be held twice at the same location. Unfortunately when the NHMS schedule was set the september race weekend had to overlap with the Fall giro, and the hotel was booked for all weekends already BUT the NHMS race weekend. Finding a new location was beyond our capabilities... Perhaps sometime again we'll hold another finger lakes giro. I encourage those planning to pepper us with some clues...

Peace
Karl

Finger Lakes sure deserves another shot. I think we missed a lot of spectacular views on Sunday because of the 'mist' (what a Scot friend calls those low hanging clouds).

Okay , now I'm back on???? I can't figure out why it wouldn't work yesterday. Frustrating.

Tex, I posted "other 2 people" because the format was brand new and not many people had joined yet. I was KIDDING, okay?

i'm cool. i would like to do a giro some day....seems i always have a conflict with an open house or a rally to support. i do have a few eligible giro bikes. if the club decides to do a fingerlakes giro again, i'd have to commit, as that is some BEAUTIFUL country to discover in the fall.
