Hello folks
Below is the schedule for the Festival of Sidecars as included in the Loudon Classic in Loudon New Hampshire.
Thanks to the work of Jim "Luigi" Laura we have been given a great weekend.
-Free entry for driver and passenger (additional people pay regular gate fee)
-$25 camping fee for the weekend
-all current racing licenses honored (SRA, VRRA, USCRA, AHRMA)
please feel free to pass this along to all the sidecar teams you know. An RSVP of attendance would help smooth things out at the gate when checking in.
Thanks, and hope to see you there!
Bill Douglas

Looks good Bill.

I guess I feel a bit sad that the listings for the vintage sidecars don't list USCRA in the schedule. That's what I had worked so hard for years to create. It was originally an USCRA thing, after all.

I will always admire how much difficulty you had to put up with for such a long time, and did it with a smile. Hats off to you.
Luigi set up a race for both modern and vintage to put more rigs on the track and make it more exciting. If it's well attended we'll have it for a long time.

so if I read the schedule correctly, vintage(and modern) rigs will get a practice AND race on Friday, Saturday and Sunday? Sunday being the 'final'?

Thanks,
Doug D.

That's correct Doug, although I don't believe Sunday is the more important than the other 2 days. With the SRA Friday is practice and race practice, Saturday and Sunday are points paying rounds.

Well, thanks, appreciate it. I really enjoyed it alot and didn't mind putting up with all the LRRS crap. I just think that USCRA should be part of the deal and not just "vintage sidecars". After all it was USCRA's gig for the longest time.

As DGY would say "... just sayin'....."

Thanks to all the rigs that showed up and made it a great weekend. There were quite a few people in the stands and taking photos and chatting in the pits.
A big THANKS to Jim Laura for his efforts and also to New Hampshire Motor Speedway!!

In case anyone wants to see some of the action from Saturday's vintage sidecar race. It's me and a brand new monkey (had 4 laps of practice b4 the race):
