Racing Class Overview:
Classes are defined by date of manufacture and engine size. With most machines any modification that was made during that period is legal except for Pre '65 and Period III Middleweight.Drum Brake only: (Cut-off Date)
- Early Vintage December 31, 1949
- Pre '65 December 31, 1964
- Period I Classic Screaming 50's engines prior to 1970, 4 speed transmission
- Period I Super Screaming 50's engines prior to 1970, more than 4 transmission speeds
- Period I 200GP Model year 1967
- Period I 250GP Model year 1967
- Period I 350GP Model year 1967
- Period I 500GP Model year 1967
- Period I Open GP Model year 1967
Front Disc Brake allowed:
- Period II Ultralightweight Supervintage Approved air cooled machines made after 1968
- Period II Lightweight Supervintage Model year 1972
- Period II Heavyweight Supervintage Model year 1972
- Period III Middleweight Supervintage Model year 1975
- Period IV Formula 1 Model year 1985
- Period IV Formula 2 Model year 1985
- Period I Classic Sidecars Model year 1967
- Period II Supervintage Sidecars Model year 1972
Special Classes:
- Masters -- Any model solo machine, but the rider must be over 45
- Super Masters -- Any model solo machine, but the rider must be over 55
- British Only -- Any model solo machine made in Great Britain
- Formula RD -- Yamaha RD350 spec class
- Formula CB -- Honda CB350 twin spec class
NOTE: the existence of a class does not guarantee that each class will be run at
any specific USCRA event-be sure to contact the Event Promoter to determine
classes to be run PRIOR to the event!!!
