1960’s Ducati 350cc road racer

This is a 1960’s Ducati 350cc road racer. It is a “springer” head not a desmo, which has saved me significant headaches in my opinion. It runs well and won the USCRA Masters Championship last season as well as finishing 2nd. in 350GP. It is a RACE bike not a museum piece so there are some scratches and scrapes although it looks pretty good overall. I’ll list improvements and modifications off the top of my head.

Aluminum RimsGel battery
Avon tiresDyna/ Barker Engineering ignition
Ceriani forksDyna coil
NJB shocksMRM (Mike Rich Motor sports) Engine
Vintage Brake 2520V front brake11.5-1 Comp, Oversized valves
Scitsu tachported, double valve springs
Italian fiberglass racing fuel tankMikuni 36mm carb
Cosmo seat/tailEngine/ Transmission (2nd. gear replaced) refreshed 4/07
428 chain and 2 sprocketsSteering damper
Custom built exhaust/ SupertrapRace lock wired
Megaphone exhaust included

I am moving up to a larger race bike and although I’d love to keep this classic for my collection the price of racing these days won’t allow for both. Please email me with any questions or for more photos at gpducracer@yahoo.com. I have put well over $7000.00 into this project over the past few years. If I do not receive any interest it will be going on ebay with a reserve in the area of $4500.00 so save me the hassle and make me an offer.

1969 ERS Aermacchi Harley

I have a 1969 Harley ERS for sale. The motor has a new con rod, new magneto, new piston, seals, bearings, clutch plates etc in it. The frame is powder coated red and the fenders and tank are black.(the black painted stuff is OK but the frame is excellent) It has new rear wheel, sprocket, and new controls---well you get the picture---without a picture. I want $3500 for it or a trade for a street bike in running condition---I am open to most anything. I have other Sprint motors, frames, etc. for sale as well and I am always looking for anything Aermacchi Harley from that era.

1996 Dodge Van

I'm selling my 1996 Dodge Van, cheap. It's an extended, 15 passenger model. 360 v-8. Power windows, power locks, front and rear AC. It's in OK shape. Tranmission problems seemed to now be worked out. Replaced it on a trip to Daytona three years ago. It's got seating for 15 but that comes out easily and this thing will hold up to four race bikes. Karl and I made a trip to Daytona four years ago with four bikes. Still has the outlines of the stickers from the Alabama Church that sold it to me a few years ago. The Bible passages have helped out over the years. Runs good. Not pretty but for $1000 (OBO), not a bad deal. If you want pictures or more info let me know.

1973 Yamaha RD350 racebike

2003 Formula 2 Championship bike. Fastest RD350 I've seen/ridden. Spec 2 stage four porting, Spec 2 expansion chambers, RZ350 reeds with Boyseen reeds, 34mm Mikuni roundslide carbs, recent crank with slotted big end rods & roller bearings. Tons of work done to the bike, comes with many spares.
With the porting and large carbs, the bike doesn't need big jetting changes over the course of the day. Engine pulls from 6000rpms up to 11000rpms. Really starts to pull strong around 7000rpms.
Great bike, strong engine, handles well. I'm moving on to other bikes, and need to sell this one. It's not the prettiest bike, and doesn't have the best paint in the paddock. But who cares about that crap. This is a fast bike.
To see all the details of the bike and more pictures, see the ad on CafeRacer.net
$2800 for the bike alone
$3500 for the bike with all the spares

1974 Hodaka Dirt Squirt

$1200 Firm (includes delivery up to 100 miles) The story. A friend of mine taunted me with this bike for four years...saying he knew where this really nice old Hodaka was stashed in someone's garage since the late 70's. Finally one day he calls me up, says he's got it and if I want it to come over and get it. He's a Harley guy and could care less about Hodakas. I was hoping for a Wombat, but I liked this little guy so I bought it. When I picked it up it was pretty much as you see it now, except with a lot of dust. I've cleaned the tank, carb, installed new pet cocks, added a fuel filter and replaced the plug with the new plug that was still taped to the crossbar after all those years. Note the non-stock but period correct KYB rear shocks and expansion chamber. Downsides are....the small dent in the tank, an area of some rust pitting on the front rim, a dent in the exhaust, some rust on a slightly tweaked rear brake pedal, all of which are detailed in photos below except for some dents in the front edge of the front fender. Fuel tank looked like you might expect with 25 year old sludge in it...it's got rust, but no leaks and appears pretty solid. Yes it starts and runs strong. I wanted a dirt bike...but this one is too nice to take out in the woods and beat up. See pictures at:

http://www.jrbranson.com/showandtell-2.htm

I have the original Hodaka Statement of Origin with all the transfers listed from the original owner to a second owner...to myself, notarized. I live in Saratoga NY, bike was originally sold at Ray's Sport Cycle in Greenwich NY...about 20 miles away. I even have the original little "Dirt Squirt" decal that came with the bike.

1967 Aermacchi/Harley 250cc Sprint Road Racer
Aermacchi_1 Aermacchi_2
The head has had extensive work done on it at Orient Express, ported and flowed, Oversized Titanium intake valve(as large as we could go) w/new valve seat, Stainless Steel exhaust valve w/new valve seat, new valve guides. The cylinder base has been milled 0.010? off the bottom to up the compression ratio to 10.5:1 ratio. Then I had it remachined and extra 0.040? to be rid of the lower push rod gasket which seemed to always leak oil, I then had Cometic make a 1 piece aluminum gasket 0.040? for the entire base of the cylinder. No more oil leak. The front brake pads are Ferrodo. The rims are Akront w/Dunlop medium rubber front and rear, plenty of life left on the tyres. It has a Scitsu electronic tach, a 12 volt battery and electronic ignition. It has a Mega Cycles L1 cam.
Asking $4,000.00.

1984 Kawasaki GPZ 550, 33,000 mi. (Period IV, Formula 2, racebike?) Has: aftermarket exhaust, seat, and fork brace Needs: tune-up (it is in storage), fairing repair, tires, chain $950 or BRO call: Rick Hoffman, 802-785-2438

Wanted: Racing Leathers
Want to buy used 1 piece racing leathers. I am a short heavy guy and hard to fit. I usually wear a 46 jacket, 36 to 38 waist, 29 inseam, weigh 215 and am 5'8" tall. I think a 50-52 suit would allow room for a back protector. The marked sizes on suits don't really seem to mean anything. Looking for decent quaility at a fair price. Also need a lightweight front fender for my 72 CL350 Honda (not sure if mounts are the same as CB). Thanks, Jack Cole jackcole13820@yahoo.com or 607-865-7714
