Bumping

"Bumping" or entering races other than the primary class is allowed and encouraged. Please check event schedule first for combined class races. You can enter the next bigger displacement class and/or the next newer Period class. You may not bump down, i.e. Lightweight Supervintage Period II can't bump to Period I 500 or Middleweight Supervintage Period III can't bump to Heavyweight Supervintage Period II.

Class Championship Points:

For solo machines, except Screaming 50's, first place is 5 points, second place is 3 points, third place is 2 points and fourth place and lower is 1 point in each final held at a USCRA event. There are no points given for the Am/Can races or for races held at the Belknap Rec. area. If you do not race but work an event, you will receive 1.5 points in your primary class. For Sidecars and Screaming 50's we use the same 5-3-2-1 point schedule but because they are International classes, points are awarded to all races. The #1 plate is awarded by random drawing, from the riders who went to every event on our published schedule.

'Away points'- Two (2) points will be awarded to any USCRA member attending the Vintage TT Event hosted by the AMCRA at the Atlantic Motorsports Park in Schubernacadie, Nova Scotia. This event is scheduled for July 8-10, 2005. Currently, this is the only event recognized for 'away points'.
