2009 Spring Moto Giro East
Moto Giro East 2009 will be held May 1st-3rd near Catskill, NY. The Friar Tuck Inn, Route 32, http://www.friartuck.com is the location of registration, starts, lodging, dinner, etc. The FTI will easily handle a couple of hundred people. (check it on-line). Rooms will be $95 per night, with up to three people splitting the cost (two beds and a cot possible), if they wish. A lake side lawn area for tents, as well. No camp fires, though. Most of the route has been established. The rides will focus on the Catskill Mountains throughout Greene and Ulster counties. The plan is for Saturday's mid-day break to be in Woodstock, NY (head bands are optional). A large variety of places to eat and look for souvenirs. Sunday will have a box lunch provided as part of the entry fees.
